Dear Birthparent,

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us.

Adoption is close to our hearts; our son Lucas came into our family through adoption. We can’t wait to welcome a new little one into our home, our family, and our hearts.

We can’t imagine all that you must be going through and we are inspired by your courage and your love. We are praying for you and your baby.

About Us

Our family is focused on God and on each other. Our faith in God is very important to us. In our home each person is valued loved, and accepted.  As parents we are focused on nurturing our children and helping them develop into the people they were created to be. We are so excited to share our love with another child.

We grew up three miles apart in the same small WI town, but didn’t really get to know each other until we both moved back home after college. After dating for nine months, we got engaged, and were married in 2008. Marriage has been an adventure and a joy. We’ve grown closer with each passing year and have fallen more in love.  Our life-long marriage is something to which we are both absolutely committed.

Our Life Together

We have fun enjoying the little things in life as a family – like camping and visiting local zoos. We also like to run, read, and play games. We love fall and Christmas time. When football season comes around, we enjoy cheering on the Packers.  We have a cute Bengal cat named Gracie. She is very affectionate and patient and great with kids.

One of our favorite thing is taking road trips together. We enjoy visiting different parts of the country. In the past few years we visited the Grand Canyon, San Diego, and the Smoky Mountains.

Mike works as a professor and Mary Beth stays home with our son, and also works part-time. We live on a quiet cul-d-sac in a safe neighborhood. We also have a nice backyard and several parks close by.

Our extended families are very important to us and we can’t wait to introduce a new child to our family. Your child already has lots cousins waiting!!!

About Mary Beth, by Mike

Mary Beth is one in a million! I am so lucky to have such an amazing, thoughtful, caring wife.

Mary Beth is an incredible mom. She is always available to cuddle on the couch or play and read with Lucas. She seems to know what he needs when he is sad and is very patient with him. I love seeing how much Lucas loves to be with her.

Mary Beth enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She also likes to run, read, crochet, and bake.

About Mike, by Mary Beth

I am so lucky to be married to my wonderful husband Mike. He is patient and generous. He loves God, takes good care of our family, and makes us laugh.

Mike is an incredible father. Lucas loves to watch at the window for daddy to come home! Mike always makes time to play with Lucas. He often takes Lucas to the park and reads with him. Mike is also always teaching Lucas new things. I love watching Mike and Lucas play games like hide and seek together.

Mike’s hobbies include reading, running, visiting zoos, and watching scary movies.

Lucas turns three soon! He is a very friendly little boy who is always full of smiles. He loves to wave to new people we meet. Lucas also loves dancing to music, bath time, going to the park, and playing hide and seek. He also likes animals and visits to the farm or zoo. Lucas brings joy wherever he goes and we are honored to be his parents through adoption. He loves playing with other children and will be a great big brother.

Our Promise

Our promise to you is to raise your child in a loving, nurturing, and safe home that is centered on how much God loves us. We promise to teach and model love, compassion, respect, and patience in our home to the best of our ability.

There is no bigger sacrifice that choosing adoption. We will remind your child of your love for them, and that you always want the best for them. We will tell your child their story often, and teach them to be proud of who they are.

We are praying for you and can’t wait to meet you soon and learn more about you and your family.
